How Keywords match
type works
Broad match is the default match type that all your keywords
are assigned without any sign or symbols. If you are using this match type then
your ads will appear on searches page when anybody writes misspellings, synonyms,
related searches, and other relevant variations like a keyword that you are
using.
Example Sport Bike as a broad match keyword would match to
any search terms that mentioned bikes, sport, or any synonyms or related terms
as determined by Google ads.
2.
Broad Modifier Match ( +)
In a broad modifier match keyword, you need to
add a plus sign in front of any or all words in your keyword. No need to put plus sign before every
keyword you should use plus sign those words that type of searches you want
which is related to your services. When you add plus sign before any keyword it
will only match to search query that contains your words.
It helps control when your ad can appear
for closely related keywords on the search page. Your ads will appear only when the customer’s search keyword match with your keyword but all words that have plus
sign must come in search terms in any manner or anywhere of the search keyword.
3.
Phrase Match Type ("")
Phrase match helps control when your ad
appears for exact related keywords with some more information before or after
the keyword that you are using in phrase match. Your ad will only appear when a
user queries match to your keywords in the exact order you enter them,
but there might be other words either before or after that phrase.
4.
Exact Match Type ([ ])
Your ads will appear to customers when they
are searching for your exact keyword, or close variants of your exact keyword.
In the exact match type Close variants include searches for keywords with the
same meaning as the exact keywords. Your
ads will appear when your keyword is an exact match with the customer’s keyword or when
the meaning of someone’s search matches the meaning of your keyword.
